Private Messages

You can use private messages to communicate directly with other VATSIM users, including pilots and controllers.

When a new private message arrives, xPilot opens a tab with the sender’s callsign. New or unread private message tabs are highlighted in yellow. Click the tab to open that conversation.

To reply, type your message into the command line at the bottom of the chat tab and press Enter. Your outgoing messages appear in cyan, and incoming messages appear in white.

To start a private chat with a controller, right-click the controller in the controller list and choose Open Private Chat. If a chat tab for that controller already exists, xPilot will switch to it instead of opening a duplicate tab.
